Tomato Day In Tallahassee

Today I plant tomatoes.  Lots of tomatoes, lol.  Yesterday it rained all day, flooded my new tilled garden, and ruined some tomato plants that I have to re-pot today in some soil that is a little less moist.  My daughter, Shelby, left all of my beefsteak heirloom seeds outside, and now they are wet.  I have to get them in some starter mix today or let the seeds rot.  So if anyone from the Tallahassee area needs some tomato plants, give me a week and I will have some seedlings for you to come and get!  Also planting my beefsteak black tomatoes today.  I have 60 seeds so I am hoping for 30 plants out of that.  I will be selling half of those for 1.50 a piece.  That's a pretty good deal since these tomatoes are on the rare side.

Going to be blogging this Spring on the progress of the garden.  Pics to come.  Have okra, peppers, eggplant, peas, tomatoes, squash, and potatoes.  Only about 1/4th of my plants are in the ground so far.  Started a lot of these plants from seeds myself.  Next year I will product pepper plants.  This year none of the seeds I planted germinated, I cannot figure that one out.  More to come today, I will post the pics of my baby romas and cherry tomatoes.
